There are a shipload of people complaining about trails not being groomed, and over 50% of them have no trial pass.

When will the groomers be doing the loon lake to mills lake trail? Haven't done this one yet, and would like to add another loop to my travels 8-)

I left a message on the 24th about the north trail. I went on the trail again last Sunday and it wasnt done.
Went down as far as southeast arm yesterday and I am very pleased. The guys did a great job. There is a lot of work left to be done but considering the amount of snow and that, it was in good shape. If they keep up the quality of grooming that I experiend yesterday, again we will have a great season. Thanks Guys.

Thanks JAckie for your response on CQ and WW relationship.

Just didthe entire loop - North and South trails. North trail is in fairly good shape, although Southeast Arm wasn't groomed. The groomer did appear to pick up grooming just after the body of water (ice now)so not too problematic. Groomer has freshly done south trail, just likely driving on a highway in parts. Quite nice!
South trail Chalet is missing a window - maybe some person (read:idiot) decided it wasn't necessary, that people don't need to stop there and warm up, take a break. Maybe karma will dictate you break down there, have to spend a night with no heat due to a broken window. Yes, that's what I'll hope happens....... 8-)

Dear Sou'wester,

Your trail is freshly groomed as of yesterday:) Groomer reported that it is "like a highway". Hope you have a better ride this weekend, let us know what you think;)

In light of the negativity, I'd like to say THANK YOU to all the groomers, volunteers, operators, etc.You can only groom what the man upstairs throws down our way. Maybe some of the moaners should think about volunteering themselves or going on a ride-along with a groomer... see how much work goes into it, and how slow a process it actually is.
A thousand times, thank you for your dedication and hard work.

Had a couple of rides over the weekend with my sons. The trails are not too too bad despite all the changes in trails and operators. It does take time, hense the negativity. I just wonder if they are all paying members. I will mention that it would be nice to see some signage at the bottom of the Smokey Rd as to where you go to the new trail behind the College & the new Hospital. There was no signage there yesterday and there was some people confused as to where they should go.
It's always a struggle with such rapid infrastructure and negativity, but hopefully we can maintain enough positive minded volunteers to keep the club running for many years to come!!
