Location: Cain's Quest
I am responding to the message left by Member since 1997.

The deal with Cain's Quest and White Wolf is that White Wolf is the proponant of Cain's Quest and as a White Wolf Project, Cain's Quest is promoted by White Wolf.

Cain's Quest in turn does promote White Wolf at every opportunity in press releases, advertising, signage, on the website as well. (White Wolf is mentioned countless times throughout the site and in News updates as well as having the logo displayed as a partner.CQ has also hosted events at White Wolf Snowmobile Club which benefits the club and the race, not to mention, Cain's Quest continues to showcase snowmobiling in Labrador.

I hope this helps clarify things for you. :)

Rode the trails yesterday for the first time this season and was extremely dissappointed and dismayed at the trail conditions. Very rough, and narrow making for an uncomfortable as well as unsafe driving conditions! looks like inexperienced groomers? Hope this gets better as many folks may very well reconsider renewing their memberships next year.

What the deal between Cain's quest and White Wolf? Why does the club continue to put so much effort into promoting the well financed event and get, what seems like, little in return? White Wolf website promotes the race but the Cain's quest website never mentions the White Wolf Snowmobile club.

Just came back from cabin in sou'west and the trails are not fit to put heicopter on.They are the pits, the groomer went to sou'west but they sure didn't hurt the bumps. What happened to our smooth groomed trails of years past. It's time for someone at the club to take control and fix this darn mess.100 bucks to ride that crap!!!!!

Not fun at all I would say.

Location: Lab West of course!
Was out on trails today and I got as far as the maker at 40Km on the North trail. Turned around as it was just too rough. That trip took an hour and 30 minutes.
I know we had a lousy start as well as other issues BUT mother nature, if as in the last few years, is only gonna give us 10 to 12 weeks before she shuts the trails down.
Lets get on with having another great snowmobile season!!!

The White Wolf Board of directors is working on a revised trail map, hopefully we will have it next week, as soon as I get them I will post a bulletin on this website.
#130  20 January 2012:  Lack of decent maps
Location: Wabush
Are we ever going to see any decent GPS maps of the trail system, or will someone need to do this and sell them?

Location: Chalet
Nice to see wood and supplies in chalets... even nicer to sit around and listen to the crackling fire after riding the groomed trails. Thanks you, groomer operators and volunteers.
