Very much enjoy riding the groomed snowmobile trails, and the Fraggle Rock/Ironstone ride is great now the trail is complete with only the MINOR convenience of 2? road crossings. Not once have I come across any incidence involving catastrophic danger - maybe these are incidences that are due to speed of operators ( as I assure you many of the riders are in excess of posted speed limits). Knowing about these MINOR inconveniences, sleders know where to slow down and use extra caution - but maybe this also involves common sense LOL. WWSC, keep up the great work, and I'll be one of the first ones on your list to buy a trail pass in coming years. Cheers!

not happy member and scared member, I'd just like to set the record straight for you and the rest of our valued members who buy a trail pass and ride the best groomed and probably the safest trails anywhere. The ironstone crossing have been a bit of a challenge for us this year, but we have worked closely with the contractors and now we have an alternate route to get around that construction site, one road crossing and your out of there. All trails are groomed and in good shape. They are a little later this year due to the weather conditions, lack of snow and ice, everybody living in Lab West this year must know that by now.
If you see something wrong on your trails, don't hesitate to give us a call, we are pretty responsible volunteers, or go do something about it.
Anything worth writing should be worth putting your name to.

I am also a member of White Wolf...Always have been...I understand this is run with the great help of volunteers...Appreciate it, no doubt...But like was already mentioned about Ironstone...If White Wolf knew (and Im pretty sure they did)that construction was going to be on the trail, why wasn't the trail moved, or for that matter closed????The Fraggle Rock Run is a close, convenient run for those who want to go for a ride in the evening with family/ friends whatever, but that situation up there is not good at all...Accident waiting to happen!Excavators, Trucks, Loaders???What kind of skidoo trail runs through that kind of equipment? We have never been allowed on IOC or Wabush Mines sites to skidoo for safety reasons...Why is it okay to go through what is going on up there?Come on guys...Something has to be done...Move the trail or shut it down before someone gets hurt or worse...Killed...My family and myself have decided that 2 weeks ago was the last time we will be going through there...It is just not SAFE...Will not be purchasing passes in the future if I cannot take my family out for a ride...Safer in the woods on the old trails years ago...Fix This!

I am a member!!! I can not say I am a happy one tho!!! My favorite trail to go on was the ironstone look but that is truely an accident just waiting to happn!!! You can always take a chance to other places but the conditions are not updated enough!! Come on with it, you promote safety but most of the time we go blind to a trail hopping it is done. One of the safety rules is to let someone always know where you are going, pretty said when you get there and it is not done, so do you go back home and let someone know where you will try next???? So I am wondering...what is the perk of being a member as not being a member???? As a member i can voice my opinion as a non member you do not have the right!!! So Like I said I am a member so here is my complaint!!! I know the great trail grromers are out there as I see them and wave as to say thank you but where are they going and what did they do and see????? Thank you

Had a wonderful two weeks in your fine town and plan to come back. Got quite a few days of sledding in just at the start of your trail grooming and truly enjoyed it.
A special thanks to a few folks that showed myself and Leanne around you know who you are. I have a short memory for names and don’t want to leave anyone out.
We are sledding in Nova Scotia but the snow gods have not been nice to us either this season so think snow and again I had a wonderful trip and will be back.

I think having the trail passes at a lower price now is a great incentive to get 'em early rather then later. It's no secret that we will definitely get snow and another great season of snowmobiling is on the horizon, so save yourself $20 bucks and get it now. Also, if anybody has ever noticed, Tamarack Golf Club, Smokey Mountain Downhill Ski Club and The Menihek Nordic Ski Club all do the same thing. Hats off to the executive for this approach and for all the hard work volunteering to get this new site up and all the other task to get this club where it is today. Thanks guys!

Can't wait for skidoo season to get started, wondering why the price of passes are going to be more in the new year.Usually the skidoo trails don't have enough snow on them to even be groomed before end of December. We are almost at the end of November and no big snowfalls are heading this way.
WEBMASTER: Start-up is the most expensive part of the operation. The price difference is a way for the members to help get money in the bank. The early prices end in December on the island and they get a lot less snow a lot later. I guess that a lot of us like you, are hoping for the snow!!! Appreciate the comment, thanks.
