BEWARE OF OPEN BROOK!!
Posted 08 March 2013, 10:28 am AST
Snowmobilers travelling to Esker should be aware of a brook that is opened up on the trail just south of Miron. As we move into the later part of the season, of course it means some of the best snowmobiling weather. However it can also mean the heads and mouths of rivers and rivers themselves will begin to deteriorate somewhat. PLEASE USE CAUTION IN THESE AREAS!! BE AWARE OF CONDITIONS IN THE AREA YOU ARE RIDING IN.
NEW TRAIL CROSSING ON WABUSH HIGHWAY
Posted 01 March 2013, 3:04 pm AST
There is now a new crossing of the Wabush Highway. Signage has been put in place to mark this crossing. This is now the approved crossing for the snowmobile trail. Always use caution at all road crossings and STOP and look both ways to check that it is safe to cross before riding your snowmobile across the roadway.
WARNING TO WALKERS!!
Posted 21 February 2013, 12:04 pm AST
Warning to Walkers

The White Wolf Snowmobile Club has recently received several complaints of close calls on the snowmobile trails with people walking on the trails.
This is a very dangerous practice which is hazardous to both walkers and snowmobilers alike.

The White Wolf Snowmobile Club would like to warn the public about the dangers of walking on the snowmobile trails and advise that you not walk on the trails. Particularly in wooded areas where the trail may have blind turns.

Thank you for your cooperation.

Patrols Being Conducted On Trails
Posted 10 February 2013, 10:07 pm AST
Enforcement has been stepped up on our trails. Trail passes are required by law on groomed trails and the fine for using the trails without a trail pass starts at $150 in addition to being required to purchase and produce your pass to the enforcement agency who issued the ticket.
If you use the trails, please help with the upkeep of them by purchasing a trail pass and club membership. Maintaining the trails is expensive and the cost should shared by ALL who use them. Thank you to all the snowmobilers who support the trails every year. The best part of the snowmobiling is yet to come. Ride safe.

Ashuanipi & Esker Trails
Posted 08 February 2013, 2:50 pm AST
Just a note to inform our members that we are working toward getting the trails open to Ashuanipi and Esker in the very near future. A couple of attempts have been made but we were hampered by weather. These trails will be ready and groomed to perfection in the near future. The best snowmobiling is still ahead.

Thanks for your patience.
