Cains Quest Posponed

Due to the snow, ice and weather conditions on the north coast of Labrador, the Cains Quest committe have decided to pospone the race until around the same time next year. Concern for the safety of the racers, support teams and the volunteers, posponement was the only option. It would be physically impossible to complete the route set out for this years race. A bit of a disappointment for sure, but bigger and better next year with the help of some real Labrador weather.
CONSTRUCTION ON TRAIL

THERE IS HEAVY EQUIPMENT AND MAJOR CONSTRUCTION ONGOING WHERE THE IRONSTONE TRAIL CROSSES THE IRONSTONE RIVER.

Local Restaurants Support WWSC

Three local restuarants know that WWSC members are good patrons and are willing to show their appreciation. Charlie's Restaurant is offering club members 10% discount on food items while the Grenfell Restaurant is offering 15% discount on their food prices. They join O'Flaherty's Irish Pub who after a good number of years is still offering 15% discount on their food prices. You MUST present your membership card to get these discounts.
